A Timeless, Sun-Drenched Brand for A ska-punk, Family-first Beach Blast From The Past

Back to the Beach was a festival our team produced with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Goldfinger frontman John Feldmann on the sands of legendary Huntington State Beach.  Featuring headliners Blink-182, 311 and Sublime, as well as beach games and a Kids Zone, the festival offered family-friendly fun in the sun for Southern California music fans.

Taking some 1970s mod cues from Back to the Beach’s Ska influence, the key art emphasizes the festival’s iconic Huntington Beach location and establishes a timeless summer aesthetic for the brand by showing the silhouetted pier at sunset in a warm, sun-kissed colorway. This classic branding was used throughout Back to the Beach’s digital and print marketing campaign and festival decor, resonating with consumers of all ages.
